SNOWBIRDS -Celebrating Canada's 150th in Hanover ON.

June 21st 2017.

Today we are heading into Hanover to The Saugeen Airport, as The Snowbirds are there to perform, along with other planes, pilots and stunt plans.  The OPP Golden Helmets are also there to perform.  However, we will not be camping.

Naturally the parking was tough.  We had to drive around for almost an hour.  The expected crowds were estimated at may be 2,000.  In actual fact over 10,000 people arrived.  We headed to it with Natalie and Elijah and met Mario there.

The first plane we came to was from "The Dam Pub"  plane.  We have been to the Dam Pub in Thornbury, and it is well worth the visit should you ever be in the area.

There were several planes all waiting for their turn for a "fly by" or stunt show.

Float plane.

The OPP Golden Helmets did their performance first, and it was fantastic.
I was too busy enjoying the show to take many pictures.
Such talent.

That was followed by several planes doing stunts.

The Dam Pub Plan getting ready for his stunts.

Gordon (The Dam Pub)  doing the stunts.  That was before he did another "fly by" and "smoked" us all.  We could not see a thing.   All adding to the excitement.

There were many other planes and stunts, followed by the main attraction -
The Canadian Snowbirds.

A great sight, in appreciation of the large crowd.

The whole show as fantastic, however, once again, I was having too much fun actually watching it all.

Right at the end of the show the
Snow Birds did two fly overs.

You would not believe the sound.
I wish I had turned the video on.

And so, the end of the show and time to head out.   Hope we get the opportunity to attend another of these shows.
